Main Course
40+ varied jumps from 60 to 100cm - including a training bank with wooden steps & drops, two dedicated training ditches, & a water complex. Redesigned every year for a fresh challenge every season.
60-100 cmMini Course
10 smaller, confidence-building jumps from 30 to 60cm. Perfect for first-timers, nervous horses, & riders working on technique in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No experience necessary.
30-60 cmSpeciality Obstacles
Logs, banks, ditches, brush jumps, & water complexes - the full cross-country repertoire in one venue. Our training bank, two ditches, & water jumps give you obstacles many other venues simply don't have.

We've been welcoming riders to Stour XC since 2012. What started as a schooling course in the heart of South Dorset has grown into one of the most popular cross-country venues in the region - & we're proud of that.
Our courses are redesigned each year so there's always something new to tackle, & we deliberately keep sessions small - just six horses on course at a time - so you get the space to ride at your own pace, without feeling rushed.
Whether it's your first time popping a log or you're counting down to your first BE event, you'll find a warm welcome, great facilities, & a course that puts a smile on every rider's face.

Field Dairy Farm is directly adjacent to the A350, making it straightforward to reach with a trailer or horsebox. We're about ten miles north of Poole & four miles south of Blandford Forum - follow signs for Spetisbury & look for the farm entrance.
