Wolverine at British Columbia

British Columbia's rugged sweep of coastal rainforest, glacial valleys, & dense boreal forest, framed by the rising Coast & Rocky Mountains, provides the wild, remote terrain wolverines are associated with in this westernmost Canadian province. Photographers joining the Grizzly Bears of British Columbia holiday in July are exploring the very landscape of rivers, lakes, & wetlands that defines this region's character. While grizzlies remain the headline species here, the same untamed topography underpins any wolverine sighting, making patience & a keen eye essential. Long lenses are recommended, as the mountainous, forested backdrop offers little in the way of open ground.
