Topi at Lobo Valley

Tucked away in the northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park, Lobo Valley is one of the most remote & scenically dramatic corners of this iconic Tanzanian ecosystem, its rugged granite kopjes rising dramatically from the open savannah to form a striking backdrop for photographing Topi. Visiting in September, guests joining our Lions of the Serengeti holiday will have the chance to frame these handsome antelope against the valley's distinctive rock formations. The open terrain here offers clear sightlines, making it a rewarding stop for capturing Topi within this wider, sweeping landscape. It's a location well worth setting aside dedicated time for, given its relative remoteness within the park.
