Wild Boar at Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park, straddling the southern bank of the Brahmaputra in Assam, offers a striking mosaic of tall elephant grass meadows, swampy lagoons, & dense tropical forest in which to seek out Wild Boar. This UNESCO World Heritage Site provides plenty of cover & open ground alike, giving photographers a genuine chance of framing this species against a varied backdrop. Visiting in March, as part of the Wildlife of Kaziranga National Park holiday, offers the best opportunity to encounter this species amid the park's rich habitat diversity.
